Senigallia is the best place for travelling by bike thanks to the flat land and, most of all, to a large network of bicycle lanes that are a safe route both for children and adults. You can ride your bike practically along the entire sea promenade. The relaxing, safe ride in the bicycle lane is even more fascinating and charming at sunset. Maniac bikers can ride along the Misa river until they reach Brugnetto and then turn right towards Castel Colonna. Interesting panoramic views can be found on the Roncitelli-Monterado provincial road towards Cesano. From Senigallia stadium, take via Cellini, then, at the junction on the left, cross the bridge over the highway and start going uphill while leaving a beautiful view over the coast behind you.

Not only sunbathing, but also wellness and fitness on the Velvet Beach! “Gym on the Beach” is a fitness path that has been especially studied to guarantee the best use conditions according to different training skills and age groups. The fitness path includes five stations: three of them are situated in the harbour area, on the Western dock, and two along lungomare Alighieri, one in front of La Bussola beach facilities and one near the UISP sun treatment centre. With a special app (Norwell Outdoor Fitness) that is available for all mobile devices, users can monitor the difficulty level and their calories consumption in real time, and follow the instructions to train in full safety on the key aspects of fitness: from cardiovascular training to muscular exercises, from flexibility to total body.

“Cittadella dello sport” in Saline area is a major point of reference for all sports fans. But that’s not all. With its high-level facilities it can host national and international sports events and competitions.  Talented roller-skaters will find an important skating ring that hosts many international competitions, where the world champions of Team Roller do their training. Track-and-field fans can train in an 8-lane stadium with a stand, services, lighting and a big parking lot. The sea is not the only place to swim or do water aerobics. Piscina Comunale Saline is a modern 25 m swimming pool for young and old swimmers, amateurs, and experts.
