Senigallia has a special surprise for all “noir” fans. Don’t miss a visit to Camera Gialla (the Yellow Room) during Festival del Giallo in August.
The space is organised by “Fondazione Rosellini per la letteratura populare” in Viale Bonopera, and hosts a collection of all detective books published in Italian. Camera Gialla contains about 10,000 detective books, including the first issue of the mythical Mondadori collection, with a yellow cover that marked the beginning of this literary genre in Italy. The halls exhibit a set of original drawings made by important book cover illustrators. The venue also contains important collections of all kinds of popular literature.
